I work for the Longview, Washington daily newspaper as a sport photojournalist . I write stories and features, take photographs and shoot some video.

I was the Editor in Chief at the PLU newspaper. I worked for three years as the Photo Editor of the Mast and one as the EIC. I organized other photogs, made executive calls and decisions, and worked on layouts while encouraging others and fostering growth.

PLU's own Emmy nominated late night comedy show, Late Knight, is ran by an all student staff. As a founding member, I photographed promotional content and the live show. I also managed and direct the lighting for the show.

I worked as a photographer and writer for the PLU Athletics Department. I also coordinated events, ran competitions, announced games, ran live-stream broadcasts, worked with alumni, sponsors, and other guests.

I learned and grew skills in management and marketing. I planned marketing campaigns and events. Promotion and recruitment is a big focus in this office.

I spent time leading incoming students through their first few weeks of college. I organized group activities and acted as a mentor and guide for their first year and more.
